WHERE CAN I PICK UP AND RETURN THE VEHICLE?

You can pick up or return the vehicle at one of our locations. You can also choose the “On-site delivery” option and we will deliver the vehicle to you. We may charge additional fees for this service.

WHERE IS YOUR AIRPORT OFFICE?

The Zippy7 Autorent office is four minutes from the airport. A member of staff will pick you up at the arrivals hall and take you to our office by shuttle bus.

HOW CAN I FIND ZIPPY7 AT THE AIRPORT?

Once you have collected your luggage and cleared security, please call us on +43 664 153 1883 and a member of staff will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN THE CAR OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS?

Zippy7 Autorent offers an out-of-hours pick-up/drop-off service. This may incur additional charges.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL DRIVER?

Yes, it is. Additional drivers can be added, making longer journeys more comfortable and safer. All additional drivers must have a valid driving license and more than one year of driving experience. Any additional drivers must be present when you pick up the vehicle so we can check their driving licenses also.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRAVEL ABROAD WITH THE RENTAL VEHICLE?

Yes, although this may incur additional charges.

CAN THE ADDITIONAL DRIVER RETURN THE RENTAL VEHICLE?

Yes, the additional driver can return the vehicle. The cardholder does not need to be present.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I RETURN THE RENTED VEHICLE LATE?

If you return your vehicle later than the time stated on the rental agreement, you may incur additional charges.

AM I ALLOWED TO HAVE THE RENTAL VEHICLE REPAIRED?

No, you cannot have our vehicles repaired. We have our own authorised mechanics.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PARKING FINES AND TRAFFIC OFFENCES?

The renter of the vehicle is solely responsible for any traffic fines and related administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

HOW LONG IS THE QUOTE I HAVE BEEN OFFERED VALID FOR?

A quoted price should be used only as a guideline and is not binding until you have actually made the reservation.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A RESERVATION FEE?

No. Reserving a rental car at Zippy7 Autorent is free of charge.

CAN THE PRICE OF MY RENTAL CHANGE AFTER MY RESERVATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED?

No. Once the booking is confirmed, the price will not change unless the booking is amended.

CAN I BOOK AND PAY FOR A VEHICLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

No, the cardholder who is paying for the booking has to be the main driver, as this will be stated on the rental agreement.

DO I NEED TO PRINT THE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION?

No, all you have to do is state your reservation number at the rental desk.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED WHEN PICKING UP THE VEHICLE?

To rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old and have had a valid driving license for at least one year.

Driving licences in languages other than the Roman alphabet must be accompanied by a valid international driving licence.

A valid form of payment in the driver’s name is required. You must also provide either a valid passport or a national ID card.

CAN I PAY FOR A RESERVATION WITH A CORPORATE BANK CARD?

We can only accept corporate cards if the name of the renter is on the card.

IS THERE A MINIMUM/MAXIMUM AGE TO DRIVE A RENTAL VEHICLE?

You have to be at least 21 years of age to rent a car with Zippy7 Autorent. The driver must have held a valid driving license for at least one year before the age of 21. Under-25s are subject to underage driving fees. There is no upper age limit for driving a rental vehicle with Zippy7 Autorent, although we apply a senior driver’s fee for drivers over 70 years of age. A driving license valid for at least one year is still required.

WHAT IS THE CHARGE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION?

There is no cancellation fee at Zippy7 Autorent. You can modify your booking at any time during the rental period by contacting us online at www.zippy7.com and/or booking@zippy7.com or by contacting our reservation team on +43 664 153 1881 or on WhatsApp.

When will I get my card deposit released?

Your card deposit will be automatically released upon return of the rental. We will notify your bank about the cancellation to expedite the refund process.

For information, the amount deposited from your card at the beginning of the rental will remain with your bank and will not be transferred to us. It serves solely as a payment guarantee during the rental period.

The timeframe for releasing this hold varies depending on your bank’s internal procedures and typically takes between 1 and 30 business days.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES ZIPPY7 AUTORENT ACCEPT?

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept prepaid cards.

A credit or debit card is required to secure your deposit. The rental fee and other optional services can be paid by card.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT?

Please call an ambulance if someone is injured. The emergency telephone number in Austria is 112.

We recommend calling the local police in the event of an accident.
