You can pick up or return the vehicle at one of our locations. You can also choose the “On-site delivery” option and we will deliver the vehicle to you, for which we may charge additional fees.

QUESTION: WHERE IS YOUR AIRPORT OFFICE?

ANSWER:

The Zippy7 Autorent office is 4 minutes from the airport. Our colleague will pick you up at the arrivals hall and take you to our office with shuttle bus.

QUESTION: HOW CAN I FIND ZIPPY7 AT THE AIRPORT?

ANSWER:

QUESTION: IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN THE CAR OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS?

ANSWER:

Zippy7 Autorent offers an out of hours pick up/drop off service, additional charges may occur.

QUESTION: IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL DRIVER?

ANSWER:

Yes, it is. Additional drivers can be added, often making longer journeys more comfortable and safer. All additional drivers must have valid driving licence and more than 1 year driving experience. Additional drivers must be present when the vehicle is picked up in order to check the driving licence.

QUESTION: IS IT POSSIBLE TO TRAVEL ABROAD WITH THE RENTAL VEHICLE?

ANSWER:

Yes, additional charges may occur.

QUESTION: CAN THE ADDITIONAL DRIVER RETURN THE RENTAL VEHICLE?

ANSWER:

Yes, the additional driver can return the vehicle. The cardholder does not need to be present.

QUESTION: WHAT HAPPENS IF I RETURN THE RENTED VEHICLE LATE?

ANSWER:

If you return your vehicle later than the time stated on the rental agreement, additional charges may occur.

QUESTION: IS IT ALLOWED TO REPAIR MY RENTAL VEHICLE?

ANSWER:

No, our vehicles should not be repaired by Renters. We have our own authorised repairers.

The renter of the vehicle is solely responsible for any traffic fines and related administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

QUESTION: I WAS OFFERED A QUOTE, HOW LONG IS IT VALID FOR?

ANSWER:

A quoted price should just be used as a guideline and is not binding until a reservation has actually been made/booked.

QUESTION: DO I HAVE TO PAY ANY RESERVATION FEE?

ANSWER:

No, the reservation is free of charge at Zippy7 Autorent.

QUESTION: CAN THE PRICE OF MY RENTAL CHANGE AFTER MY RESERVATION BOOKING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED?

ANSWER:

No. Once the booking is confirmed, the price will not change unless the booking is amended.

QUESTION: CAN I BOOK AND PAY A VEHICLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

ANSWER:

No, the Card holder who is paying for the booking has to be the main driver, as this will be stated on the Rental Agreement.

QUESTION: DO I NEED TO PRINT THE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION?

ANSWER:

No, all you should do is to tell us your reservation number at the rental desk.

QUESTION: WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED WHEN TAKING OVER THE VEHICLE?

ANSWER:

To rent a car, the Renter must be at least 21 years old and have had a valid driving licence for at least one year.

Driving licences in languages other than the Roman alphabet, such as Russian or Chinese, must be accompanied by a valid international driving licence.

The Renter must have valid payment form in the driver’s name. In addition to the above, you must provide either a valid passport or a national ID card.

QUESTION: CAN I PAY FOR A RESERVATION WITH A CORPORATE BANK CARD?

ANSWER:

We can only accept corporate cards if the name of the individual renter is highlighted on the card.

QUESTION: IS THERE A MINIMUM/MAXIMUM AGE TO DRIVE A RENTAL VEHICLE?

ANSWER:

The minimum age to rent a car with Zippy7 Autorent is 21 years. The driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year before the age of 21. Please note that under-25s will be subject to under-age driving fees. There is no upper age limit for driving a rental vehicle with Zippy7 Autorent, we apply a senior driver’s fee for drivers over 70 years of age. A driving licence valid for at least one year is still required.

QUESTION: WHAT IS THE CHARGE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION?

ANSWER:

There is no cancellation fee at Zippy7 Autorent. You can modify your booking at any time during the rental period by contacting us online at www.zippy7.com and/or booking@zippy7.com or by contacting our reservation team on +43 664 153 1881 or on WhatsApp.

QUESTION: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY DEPOSIT/APPROVAL TO ARRIVE TO MY ACCOUNT?

ANSWER:

This depends on your bank, please allow up to 30 working days for the funds to clear and become available on your account.

QUESTION: WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED BY ZIPPY7 AUTORENT?

ANSWER:

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept any prepaid cards.

Pay in cash is also accepted, fees may apply.

QUESTION: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I LOSE MY ZIPPY7 RENTAL KEY?

ANSWER:

ANSWER:

Please call an ambulance if someone is injured. The emergency telephone number in Austria: 112.
